In 2005, CICA was looking to upgrade & 
remodel their first floor Reception Lobby and
Public corridors at their 5050 N. Broadway
facility in Chicago.  Folgers Archtects Ltd.
participated in the planning and design of this 
space which emphasizes a smooth pattern of
flow  for entry and egress, improved sightlines
for security, and upgraded finishes for a fresh
and revitalized corporate image.  The new 
design incorporates a new custom curved, 
mahogany & brushed aluminum guard desk.
New ceiling and fixtures with curved drywall
soffits, new wall & floor finishes, frameless
glass entry doors with a thick brushed 
aluminum door frame surround, & frameless
curved glass walls with applied graphics that
relate to the curve & pattern of the guard desk.
