FAL toured the existing dementia wing and
interviewed key staff members of this 210 bed
skilled nursing facility to gain a thorough 
understanding of the projected resident profile
and the philosophy of care for the planned 30
bed dementia addition prior to beginning 
schematic design.

FAL's design features two 15 bed wings which
incorporate a unified nurses station, separate
secured courtyards with covered walks, and
oversized resident rooms and activity spaces.
The connecting link to the existing facility has
a supplemental entry to ease access for 
visitors and staff and a new facility activities
room.
