LongView Nursing Home

This 78 bed skilled nursing facility, saw an
increasing community need for expansion of
levels of care provision.  FAL prepared a long
range facility plan which would investigate
providing additional levels of care and assess
the remaining useful life of the existing facility.
The result was the replacement of nursing beds
in a more contemporary structure which would
also allow for heightened quality of nursing care.
The site slopes allowed for this construction to
be three full floors.  The lower levels provided
space for independant living apartments for the
elderly and assisted living units for the 
community.  The existing structure was 
converted to a specialized care unit for those
with dementia, additional assisted living units
and support spaces.
