FAL consolidated this agency's ten multiple
locations into a single 311,000 s.f. office in
the Metcalfe Federal Building.  To maximize
flexibility and growth, 98% of the space on
10 floors was designed as open plan after an
extensive study to optimize workplace size 
and component standards.

Each floor was independently supported with
reception, coffee, copy, coat, conference and
central file areas.  Common use EDP centers
were generously spotted throughout each floor.
