United Airlines

United Airlines Station Operation Center is a
43,000 s.f. building addition to terminal one,
Concourse C at O'Hare International Airport.
The SOC is the control center for monitoring,
and directing ground operations for United
Airlines. The Concourse C addition also
provided for two additional gates,
administrative offices, independant mechanical
systems, and a back-up generator.

Ground breaking began on July 13, 2001, but
two months later, the project was put on hold
and later cancelled because of the events of
September 11.
