Commercial Union Center

Commercial Union Center is a 105,000 s.f.
four story headquarters building designed for
CEM Enterprises, the parent of American
Chambers Life Insurance. The expressed
steel structure and translucent perimeter
glazing reinforces the client's desire for
simplicity of form and improved operating
efficiences.

The modified cruciform plan is a direct
extrapolation of the client's interior program
with four office wings, each with two story bays
surrounding the central service core. This
responds directly to the client's departmental
and organizational work flow, and provides
a grand hall space for employees working
within and open plan environment.
