At CICA's 5050 N. Broadway facility, FAL
provided architectural services for the 
expansion of their existing parking garage.
The structure was post-tensioned concrete
deck & beams with steel reinforced concrete
columns, and pre-cast concrete panels.  The
project involved adding two additional floors to
an existing four story garage, providing a total
of 225 additional parking spaces.  FAL was
ultimately successful in creating an addition
that appeared to be part of the original 
construction, both in detail and appearance.
FAL was also able to improve on the original
design by resolving poor detailing which was
shortening the life span of the structure.
