The Loftrium

FAL acted as developer and architect for the
renovation and conversion of this 8 story, 1909
heavy timber warehouse building to
commercial office space. The highlight of the
conversion is a central glass-walled light court
atrium extending fromthe first floor to the roof.
Offices on each 12,000 s.f. floor receive the
benefit of outdoor illumination and a sense of
openness otherwise unavailable in a building
of this footprint.

New mechanical, electrical and elevator
systems were installed, the basement was
converted to parking, and the building shell
was fully restored. The project was completed
within tight budget constraints resulting in first
class accomodations at below market rates.
